“Resilient and Digital Democracy”

From polarization in science communication to citizens’ trust in government institutions—KIT’s research topics on democracy are as diverse as the disciplines and researchers addressing them. With the launch of the new research topic “Resilient and Digital Democracy,” the KIT Humans and Technology Center is promoting scientific, methodological, and strategic exchange on research related to democracy at KIT. 

To mark the official announcement of this research topic as part of the 2026 Days of Democracy, we cordially invite all democracy researchers and interested individuals to join us on June 24, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., for drinks and snacks at Kronenplatz.&

Program

  • 5:00 p.m.: Arrival
  • 5:15 p.m.: Welcome and brief thematic introduction
  • Starting around 5:30 p.m.: Networking and conversation over snacks and drinks, toasting the diversity of KIT’s research topics

Followed by Vinyl Wednesday at the INTRO Café.
