Research is better when done together – and citizen science is a great example of this.
The Citizen Science Meeting brings together researchers, stakeholders, and interested individuals who are actively shaping citizen science or engaging with the topic. The focus is on sharing experiences and knowledge, as well as on current developments and challenges in citizen science. There will be opportunities to present your own projects and perspectives, learn from one another, and take away new ideas for your own work.

Citizen Science with Young People – How Do Citizen Science Projects Work for Children, School- and College Students?
How can they become active participants in research? This course explores how citizen science projects can be designed with young people in mind. Including speakers like Hannah Wahler from the Karlsruhe School of Education and Jürgen Weixel of the Data Protection Staff Unit. Additional presentations and a workshop will provide exciting insights, practical perspectives, and a variety of opportunities for discussion and networking.
