What is it about?

  • How can science gain new perspectives through the participation of citizens?
  • What opportunities does citizen science offer for a democratic and sustainable urban society?
  • And how can we make activities in Karlsruhe and the region more visible and better networked?

In this workshop, we want to explore together what Citizen Science means - as a scientific attitude and as an expression of participation. We would like to present concrete examples, make existing networks visible and collect ideas for a joint platform at KIT.
