The research colloquium is organized by those responsible for the "Ideas, Concepts, Discourses" and "Cultural History of Technology" pillars of the MA course. The program includes lectures by external guests who report on current research projects or their work in the context of history education. In addition, concepts for final theses by Euclid students are presented as required or current topics from the research fields of the two pillars are discussed.

Coursework:

Your coursework will consist of a written discussion (approx. 6-7 pages) on a guest lecture, for which you will work out the state of research on the topic and, on this basis, categorize and comment on what has been said. If you are taking the course in a B module or in GTM, you must write a meeting protocol of approx. 4-5 pages in addition to the discussion.

If you wish to use topics from the research colloquium later for the written (A-module) or oral (B-module) final module examination, this is also possible.
